Introducing: The Still Room Studio

There is a special kind of impact that arises out of a well-held room; time softens and possibility opens. What we do there - create, reflect, rest, share or learn - can quietly reshape each of us within it.

Space has always been central to what I do. Across the settings I have worked in throughout my career, the intentional offering of space has provided opportunities for exploration, expression and growth - for people to build confidence not only in what they do, but in who they are.

Our first creative space, The Drafting Rooms at Sawtooth Studios, has already provided so much inspiration. A city centre studio for artists of all disciplines, that sits high up in the old factory rooftops, has become a hub for the community of writers, painters, tutors, photographers and actors developing their work there - thriving within space steeped in Norwich’s own rich history of making.

The Still Room is the next evolutionary step and a natural extension for Sawtooth Studios. It offers a quieter kind of space, in a beautiful countryside setting on the edge of Norwich in Keswick Hall, the former home of the Gurney family.

Adaptable in its layout and generous in proportion, light and openness, The Still Room responds to the needs of the communities, businesses, and creators who choose to use it. It is a space for shared experiences - workshops, awaydays, clubs, and retreats - shaped with intention to slow the pace, soften the noise, and allow room for reflection, clarity, and growth.

Where The Drafting Rooms in Norwich’s Creative Quarter invite action, The Still Room at Keswick Hall offers a moment to pause.  An invitation to step out of the rush and intentionally make space for what matters most to you.

Together, these studios form a complete journey: space to explore, space to create, and now, a dedicated space to be still and find clarity.

The team and I are delighted to be evolving The Still Room throughout 2026 alongside our community, creative and business users.  It is a space that will be, we hope, of service to all and we wish each of you a very warm welcome.
